Psychological therapy and counselling by video call

........a flexible online therapy service to suit you

Dr Alesia Moulton-Perkins, Clinical Psychologist and CBT therapist

Are you seeking therapy to help overcome stress or low mood, to achieve a better work-life balance, or perhaps a renewed sense of wellbeing and greater resilience? You might be an expat living overseas and can't find an English speaking therapist or psychologist, or maybe you live in a rural area in the UK. Whichever it is, I can help you by offering therapy online via video call (videoconferencing).

  • I help expats and professionals in the health or education sectors by providing flexible online therapy via videoconferencing

Are you a mental health professional seeking online supervision and consultation?

  • I help CBT therapists enhance their specialist skills

As well as skills in helping adults with depression or anxiety, I also have specialist training and expertise in ADHD, Tic Disorder, Tourette's Syndrome and long term physical health conditions (LTC). I see neurodivergent clients through my service NeuroDiverse Online a service I run with my Co-Director Dr Jess Gough.

Online therapy and counselling

Life can be hard, and if you are a professional in the healthcare or education sectors , or are living abroad , it can be especially difficult. Travelling to see a therapist might not be possible for you - particularly if you live in a remote, rural area, or abroad where there are few English-speaking British qualified psychologists or therapists. Just fitting therapy around a busy work schedule can be a challenge! As an experienced clinical psychologist who has lived abroad, I can bring a particular understanding to these difficulties. I offer a flexible online service to meet your needs, whether you are time-stressed or lacking suitable support locally. I can provide face-to-face therapy via a secure video link, as well as online resources and email support to suit your situation.

Problems I treat include:

  • Panic and agoraphobia
  • Generalised Anxiety Disorder
  • PTSD and trauma
  • OCD
  • Neurodevelopmental disorders such as ASD, ADHD and Tourette’s syndrome
  • Depression and Low self-esteem
  • Work stress
  • Insomnia
  • Long Term Conditions and difficulties psychologically adjusting to them  (physical health problems such as chronic pain, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome/ME, COPD, cancer, diabetes, heart problems, irritable bowel syndrome amongst others)

I offer a flexible way to access therapy so you have a choice in terms of time commitment and cost. See my Therapy Options and Fees page for more information

Face to face therapy

If you live in the South East of England, particularly Surrey, Hampshire, Brighton and Hove, Worthing, Arundel, Chichester or elsewhere in West Sussex, I might be able to see you in person at my consulting rooms in Chichester, West Sussex.

Supervision and Consultation

I have extensive experience of supporting psychologists in training, including working as a Senior Teaching Fellow on the University of Surrey clinical doctoral training programme, and as a supervisor and mentor in private practice. I am BABCP accredited, and offer CBT supervision as well as consultation for online practice. See my Supervision and Consultation page for more information

Testimonials

“Thanks again. I am feeling much better - I feel like I have a rock on which to stand, rather than before, when I felt I didn't have anything to stand on. I felt like you strike a really good balance between being a professional therapist with clear goals and lots of techniques, and also being a human being yourself, being down to earth, with humour and anecdotes, and empathy." Chris

"I'm really pleased I went ahead with therapy...I opted to have the therapy over video phone which was great because I could fit it in my lunch hour at work, which I wouldn't have been able to do if I need to attend face to face therapy. Alesia was great. She gave me some really useful tools to take away from the sessions which really made me feel I could finally move forward. Even though we spoke over video call I still feel I was able to build a rapport with her. She was very easy going and I felt I could say everything I needed to in front of her without any judgement. I would thoroughly recommend both Alesia, and telephone therapy if you don't have time to commit to face to face therapy." Sarah

“Alesia is an extremely capable and kind therapist on so many dimensions. In our sessions, the frequent "A-Ha!" and "Oh!" moments of realization I had proved to me that therapy was working. Alesia was always so prepared for our sessions. From the exercises we did, to the methods that were used in therapy, to tracking my well being over time, it was easy to see the progress I was making. At the same time, Alesia was able to change course as we learned new things about my experiences and condition. Some treatments were going to work better than others for me, and she navigated to the ones that did. When I had a very bad week, she was a comforting ear to help sort out my challenges”. William, adult therapy client
